The Hangry Kitchen: Chocolates

If chocolates make you happy, making your own chocolate candy might make you downright giddy!

During this especially popular Hangry Kitchen class, we’ll make our own candies using an assortment of molds and a variety of chocolates. We’ll have dark, milk, and white chocolate to melt and pour; oh, so easy! There will be nuts to cover and pretzels to dip, soft fillings to coat and cherries to drench. Mmmmm.

All participants will receive recipe cards and a container to take their chocolates with them.

Pre-registration through the Lawrenceburg Public Library is required. Due to the nature of this class, there are limited spots available. If you have registered, but need to cancel, even at the last minute, please contact LPLD as soon as possible so someone on the waitlist can attend in your place.

As always, Hangry Kitchen classes held at our public library are free and open to everyone. Please take a moment to thank and support the Lawrenceburg Public Library District, and be sure to visit and appreciate all public libraries and the staff who work so hard for their communities.

**Please note that all kinds of potential allergens (dairy, nuts, gluten, etc.) will be in use, so please plan accordingly for your health.

There will be readings by the authors, Q&A sessions, visits with adorable therapy dogs, and more!

The following are excerpts from the Lawrenceburg Public Library’s website:

Support local talent! Stop by and find your next great book to read. Most of the authors have a connection to Southeastern Indiana and all are from Indiana, Ohio or Kentucky. There is no cost to attend and parking is free. (Maybe you can find a few Easter presents!)

Welcome to My New Website

We are entering that all too brief period of time where there are lots of open spaces on the calendar, so I’ve taken full advantage of the lull to update my website while jotting down all of my 2025 Resolutions. In pencil, of course!

Welcome to this freshly designed and crafted site. While you’re here, take a second to look over the newly released and soon to be released titles I’ve been working on. Visit the Events page where you’ll find virtual and in-person events, and sign up for my seasonal newsletter: By the Book. Every issue includes samples from my newest books, information about special events, and creative boosts like a craft or recipe or writing prompt.

Thank you for dropping by; it’s good to meet you! And most of all, thank you for being a reader!
